Diamond Home Builders construct single-family homes using a process that encompasses all aspects of building a high quality home from the initial ground breaking to the final landscaping. The majority of homes by Diamond Home Builders are priced between $250,000 to $575,000. They believe these homes and their future home owners deserve time, attention, and precise detail, therefore, they typically only build a few homes a year. Personalized Builder Diamond Home Builders believes that when you build a custom home, you are basically married to the builder during the process.
To the surprise of Sierra Building Group, the launch of its upscale golf community in Collingwood was so well received it prompted the company to unveil its second phase months earlier than expected. "We opened phase one in July and basically, we ran out of a whole bunch of product," says president Morris Kansun of the 40 townhouse units that were released at Tanglewood at Cranberry Trail. "The [townhouse] bungalows were especially a huge success." Only a few two-storey and stacked townhouse units remain from the initial release. Another 35 townhouse units -- 16 bungalows and 19 two-storeys -- were put on the market three weeks ago. It will take about a decade to complete the entire development, which will house about 800 West Coast-inspired homes and a 15,000-square-foot complex with recreation and spa facilities.
The 6,500-acre Mariposa master planned community in northern Rio Rancho has broken ground on what will be the first building to be constructed in its East Commons area. The 14,500-square-foot facility will serve as an office, retail and sales center for Mariposa's staff and the community's developer, High Desert Investment Corp. The facility, designed by Albuquerque architecture firm Dekker Perich Sabatini, is being built by Enterprise Builders. It is scheduled to be complete in February 2007. .
